General German Bicycle Club becomes a new member

Mitglieder im Verein I Digitize the Planet

Largest advocacy group for cyclists in Germany relies on Digitize the Planet.

With the General German Bicycle Club (ADFC), we have gained an important partner from the fields of sport, mobility, leisure and tourism.

The number of cyclists in Germany and Europe is enormous. Our association’s work aims to ensure that we provide official, nature conservation-relevant data to guide cyclists’ activities through outdoor platforms and map services.

We are delighted to have the support of the ADFC to achieve this goal.

Christian Tänzler, member of the Federal Board – Cycle Tourism at ADFC e.V., comments

“Cyclists have a great interest in being out and about in an intact, natural environment. The ADFC sees itself as an active organization for nature conservation and sees a great opportunity to reach cyclists in digital media with information on nature conservation. With our membership, we would like to support Digitize the Planet in standardizing such information and making it available to users on as many digital platforms as possible.”
