Digitize the Planet supports public authorities in the preparation of their data (rules, protection purposes, etc.) and disseminating important normative information.
Authorities, administrations and ministries are tasked with the management and responsibility of information and data relating to nature conservation areas. The preparation, maintenance and dissemination of this data requires resources, expertise and cooperation with companies from the private sector. In some cases, this cannot be achieved.
Digitize the Planet can provide support here and take up the needs of administrations and, through close cooperation, evaluate and process data across the board and support data maintenance.
In addition to the official specifications and requirements, the association also works with platforms and information services that people use for leisure planning and where the data can be played out.
This enables us to bring the needs of both sides together and ensure a functional flow of information that meets both requirements.

Efficient use of resources
Once the data has been entered by the authorities, a machine-readable dataset with an international standard is created, which can be integrated into any system free of charge (open data).
We support authorities in the resource-saving integration of data and the simple maintenance of information on our platform.
Through close cooperation, individual integrations and processing can be carried out. Once data has been integrated, it is easy to maintain and update it.
We regularly offer free training courses on data entry.
