We support athletes in practicing their passion in an environmentally friendly and compliant manner.
More than knowing where to go – knowing where you are allowed to go. Travelling in nature without conflict on the basis of digital rules, regulations and information.
To this end, the association creates the basic information for nature conservation-compliant and digital activity management for all types of outdoor sports.
In order to encourage sportspeople to practise their activity in a nature conservation-compliant manner, the associations can inform their members that there are outdoor platforms that contain the official nature conservation data.
Among other things, this leads to greater acceptance of the sport.
The majority of the tours published online are user-generated content.
The tour offers, which integrate the verified data from DtP, ensure that, for example, the mountain bike or ski tour can be carried out with a ‘clear conscience’ and that the athletes do not come into conflict with, for example, forestry, hunting, nature conservation and landowners.
In many cases, the sports association acts as a mediator between the various interest groups such as forestry, hunting, nature conservation, tourism organisations, landowners, etc. in relation to activity management.
By utilising and disseminating the official nature conservation information from DtP, the sports association reinforces its strategically important position.
Only through comprehensive and professional preparation of all information for tour planning, including rules of behaviour, conservation purpose, etc., can the tour become an experience for the sportsman and thus a sustainable outdoor experience, also in terms of nature conservation.
Best Practice
The DAV’s tour portal fully integrates our nature conservation-compliant data. In addition, we integrate the voluntary protected areas (forest-wildlife sanctuaries) of the mountain sports association.
Best Practice
Our project is part of the training programme for nature sports guides.
