Which authorities in Austria enter data in our system?
Since the completion of our database, we have been actively working to convince the responsible authorities to cooperate with us.
Our principles for data entry into the Digitize-Platform stipulate that nature conservation information – such as rules, information, regulations, conservation purposes, texts and images – may only be entered by the respective authorities and parks responsible for the protected areas.
At the beginning, it was necessary to carry out extensive research to determine which authority in each federal state is responsible for entering nature conservation information.
In addition to the nature conservation authorities, the data-providing bodies may also include administrations of protected areas (national parks, nature parks, etc.) and tourism organizations (with power of attorney).

Conclusion
In principle, we see that the authorities are interested in working with us, but some still need to be convinced of the great benefits of our open data solution.
However, the biggest obstacle to cooperation is the lack of capacity (personnel/budget). However, we remain positive that this will be achieved through persuasion.
