Conservation-compliant product use
We were invited by the European Outdoor Group to present our project at this important event in Berlin. Over 300 decision-makers from the European outdoor industry took part in this event on 28 + 29.09.23.
Our aim was to make it clear to the outdoor industry that it must also take responsibility for its products after the sale. The aim is to ensure that buyers of outdoor products use them in a way that is compatible with nature conservation. To achieve this, it is necessary to provide them with information about the rules of the game in nature.
European Outdoor Group: “Digitalization is a fact of business life, but its impact goes far beyond the way we use it to run businesses. Thorsten Unseld from Digitize the Planet e.V. gave an overview at the Summit of how digitization and data are helping to disseminate important information about 47,000 nature reserves around the world.
This is another great example of a collaborative project that can be even more effective and impactful if more organizations get involved and contribute.”
