Objective:
The aim of the conference was to promote collaboration between European trail organisations by emphasising sustainable trail management practices and promoting inclusivity in the use and management of trails.
At the invitation of the organizers ERA and EUMA, Digitize the Planet was able to present its project to a broad international audience from over 20 European countries and show what contribution we can make to sustainable trail management with our nature conservation-compliant data.
In interesting conversations, we received a very positive message from the hiking and mountaineering association landscape that our international standard for the collection and dissemination of data relevant to nature conservation is the right way.
