The BMWK funded the Digitize the Planet project ‘OutKomm’ as part of the LIFT-Wissen tourism promotion programme. This enabled the organisation to investigate what digital information an explanatory communication strategy for rules of use in natural areas requires, and whether this can lead to increased acceptance and greater awareness of nature when used correctly?
